This summer, I am excited to be interning as a Software Engineer for Zenblen, a smoothie kiosk startup in Chicago.
HRI Research
In Summer 2023 and since, I've done research in Professor Sarah Sebo's Human-Robot Interaction Lab.
- Last summer, I ran a participant study analyzing how strangers reacted to a mean robot.
- I worked with a NAO robot integrated with a ChatGPT API.
- I presented our preliminary findings at the Midstates Undergraduate Research Symposium in Nov. 2023.
- The paper summarizing our full results is currently under review for the HRI Journal.
Camp Crestridge
In Summer 2022, I worked as a counselor at Camp Crestridge for Girls.
- I lived in-cabin with over 50 girls, ages 11-14, over 9 weeks.
- I taught campers how to sew, both by hand and using machines.
- Being a counselor was emotionally challenging, but I am so grateful for the friendships I cultivated both with my campers and my fellow staff.
