DanceBot was a project I worked on in an Intro Robotics course with Prof. Sarah Sebo in Spring 2024. My two teammates and I programmed a TurtleBot3 to recognize ASL gestures, utilizing computer vision and TensorFlow to train a model on the Sign Language MNIST dataset. We then used ROS to enable the robot to perform dance moves in response to the gestures. It was such a fun project and I learned so much!
